- my secret identity -
Hannah's convinced that I'm the mastermind behind Snowcat. She's joking, of course, as she knows how artistically inept I am. But some of his entries (especially the more recent ones like
7/11, 7/28 and 7/31) could've come straight out of my own diary. Dude, it's almost creepy...

- baby one more time -
Geoffrey's son, Camden Luders, was born 14 hours ago and weighed in at 5 lbs 4 oz. He was 7 weeks early, but is apparently doing well. Congrats Geoffrey!

- nothing tastes as good as being thin -
My weight was down to 112.5 lbs this morning. I'm starting to get worried.

- brothers gonna work it out -
I was at the gym last night, watching the 2003 ESPY Awards when my neighbor (who's from Israel, I think) asked me "is this award show only for black people?" I laughed so hard I nearly fell off the elliptical machine.

- double wide -
My first ever two-post day, courtesy of the first ever two-fishbowl day at work.
First up was Rosanne Cash. I didn't really know her or her music, but the free sandwiches were nice. Apparently I wasn't the only one wondering if she was related to Johnny Cash because 3 people at the show asked me that exact question. With a little googling, we found out that she, indeed, is Johnny's daughter. Oh yeah, I noticed that she was wearing Prada shoes. Pretty weird for a country singer, don't you think?
Then later in the day came Clem Snide who were excellent as expected. They are one of the 2 bands whose music makes me feel sad and happy at the same time (the Cardigans is the other). They closed the quick 4-song set with Your Favorite Music -- how fitting! Frito was in the front row with his MD recorder/mic, so I might have to pester him for a copy.

- i'm a consumer whore (and how!) -
At last, the Bitter Films Store has reopened! Apparently Don Hertzfeldt and Mike Judge have joined forces and will soon start the Animation Show tour, which will feature 3 new shorts by Don himself. Woohoo! Thank God -- I can only watch Rejected so many times.

- mama said knock you out -
Boy, have I got some serious beans to spill. I'll be resurrecting my private blog shortly, and I promise it'll stay up for more than a week this time. No, really.
Now, back to our regularly scheduled programming...

- audition -
I feel like Asami, sitting quietly by the phone, waiting for it to ring -- except it's an email I'm waiting for (I think). Oh, and my apartment doesn't have a giant sack with a tongueless guy in it.
On a completely unrelated note: have I mentioned how much I love the new Radiohead CD? It's easily their best since OK Computer. I don't know if I will go see them live though (8/30 in Vancouver; 8/31 in Seattle).

- mo' money -
For the first time ever, Amazon stock went (and closed) higher than my strike price.
I'm going to go buy a Porsche now.
