As some of you may know already, I have a "lucky shirt" -- a light green polo from the Gap that I have owned since 10th grade. Throughout high school and college, I wrote 99% of my exams wearing that shirt. I also had a ritual involving a pack of green Halls, an expired bottle of eye drops, a box of Kleenex, a lucky pen/pencil set and my father's wedding ring, but I'll spare you the details.

A couple of years ago, I started a new tradition of wearing my Shawn Wolfe Remover/Installer t-shirt on the day of a project launch. I'm wearing it right now, at 3 o'clock in the morning, having rolled out just minutes ago the buggiest piece of software I have ever worked on. That's pretty frightening considering all the stuff I'd been part of at The Bookstore.
