- war, what is it good for? -

It's almost disturbing how I'm not phased at all by this whole war thing. I just don't give a fuck. I just hope the US to bomb the shit out of Iraq and get it over with. What I do find annoying about this whole situation is the anti-war protesters -- I mean, is it just me, or are they just a bunch of unemployed losers who have nothing better to do? You are *not* making a difference, so just shut the fuck up and get the fuck out of my neighborhood.

ESPN picks University of Kentucky to win it all in this year's NCAA tournament. Why do I care? Well, I don't, really. But consider this: the last 6 times the Wildcats went all the way (1949, 1951, 1958, 1978, 1996 and 1998), my beloved New York Yankees went on to win the World Series later in the year. Coincidence? You decide.

Just attended the fishbowl series for Chantal Kreviazuk. She did a quick 3-song set (all from her upcoming CD), and it was actually really good. After the show, while she was signing my (free) CD, I told her that it's a pity that we don't get to see her on MTV as much as we do/did on MuchMusic, and she got all defensive, saying how she's getting plenty of airplay in the US, blah blah blah. Like, whatever. I like her husband better anyways.

In a surprising move, ESPN's Page 2 selected Roger Clemens as the ultimate #21. Wow -- even I would've gone with Roberto Clemente. Which reminds me... Why doesn't the Rocket switch back to 21 now that Paul O'Neill is gone? I can never get used to seeing him wearing 22 (or 12, for that matter).
